I am not a "performance" DJ, but rather a spinner. I still enjoy using discs rather than computer(I-pod, etc.). My music centers around dancing, not Karaoke. I feature, latin, cajun, reggae, world, blues, soul, indy, some country, basically if I don't have the music and the client gives me advance notice of specifics that they want, I will try and accomodate them. I have been involved with reunions, graduations, fund raisers, receptions, intimate dinners for twenty, up to big events for 300-500. My equipment is professional (Mackie Speakers and sub, American Audio Dual CD player, Sennhiser Mic.) and so far, hasn't failed me! My most recent event was a black-tie silent auction and at the end of the evening, the lady in charge said " I've worked with a lot of DJ's over the years, and tonight was the first time one of you actually hit the mark!"
